A little about the Artist:
On 13 August 1996, Ingar Aasen, alias "Art Ranger 107", rolled a Russian armored car onto the castle grounds and let the air out of the wheels. The protest action was based on putting King Harald in what Aasen himself described as "the slavery of the social body". There has been fresh air around the artist, who lives in his artist camp at Øra in Fredrikstad. Art's custodian, the Art Ranger wants to do as he pleases, and is not affiliated or tied up to society's general framework in any way. Aasen is an eccentric artist with a long series of artistic images and installations. As well as decoration and exhibition in the Winter Olympics 2002 Salt Lake City. The royal family has also bought Aasen's art. As a person, he describes himself as calm, kind and diplomatic.
